Sister Act - The Nuns Run 2010
In conjuntion with Sister Act you have the a chance to dress up in a Nuns Habit and run around some of London's landmarks and bridges.
It is a non-competitve run starting next to City Hall on Potters Fields and running on footpaths past the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, South Bank, London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, Blackfriers Bridge, Thames Path, Tower of London and finish back in the city.
The run is also a fund raiser for Barnardo's.
Barnardo's is an expert on the issues affecting children and their families, providing direct support to over 100,000 children and young people and also campaign to bring about lasting improvements to their lives. They hope to get loads of runners taking part of all ages and abilities.
In 2009 the event raised £30,000 for Barnardos and with a new venue and increased numbers participating we hope to raise much more in 2010.
Entry is just £20 and includes your nun costume and a donation to Barnardo's.
